Food Pantry Needs

The Warsaw Township Food Pantry distributes food every second Wednesday of the month between 9 am and 10 am to those living in the Warsaw school district at the Bott Community Center. For more information contact Karen Torbeck at 217-256-4438, Stephanie Doyle at 217-440-3410 or the Township Office at 217-256-4593.

The St Paul’s Episcopal Church Food Pantry, 240 S 4th Street alley side of church is held the third Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The exception to this is June 6 (1st Saturday). For emergency requests, please call 217-575-0045. We deliver to those who are homebound or cannot carry the food.

The First Warsaw Presbyterian Church, 210 South 4th Street sponsors a Blessing Box located on the north side of the church by the steps. Please feel free to take what you need.


ATV, UTV, and Golf Cart Licenses

This is a reminder to get your ATV, UTV, and Golf Cart Licenses for 2020. If you need an application, you can contact us at 217-256-3214 and we can give you an application and set up a time to have your application reviewed. Drivers License, proof of insurance can be attached to the application. Thanks!


Sidewalk Program Applications

Applications for the Sidewalk Program are available for pick up at Warsaw City Hall by calling 217-256-3214. Applicants are responsible for removal of the old sidewalk and forming. The city will pick up old sidewalk concrete to be disposed of.


Riverfront Camping

Camping at Riverfront Park is open beginning May 29. Fees for camping can be paid at City Hall by calling 217-256-3214 or there is a drop box at the park. Remember to use social distancing per guidelines. Riverfront park is licensed by the Illinois Health Department.


Warsaw Fireworks July 11

Thomas Bell plans to provide a 30 minute fireworks display on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at the Warsaw Fairgrounds beginning at sundown. There is no charge to the public, but donations are welcome. Must be there to appreciate the show! We are still needing volunteers to assist with the display!


Warsaw City Hall and Water Department

The Warsaw Water Department is accepting debit/credit cards along with online water bill payments. A payment service fee is added by the Utility Bill Company pending the balance of your bill. Go to https://warsawillinois.azurewebsites.net/ to set up your account.

Water disconnections for bills 60 days past due are scheduled to be shut off on June 25th. There is a $100 reconnection fee to have water service back on. Contact City Hall at 217-256-3214 to make arrangements for payments if needed.

City Hall will begin opening on June 1, 2020 by appointments. Building occupancy will be limited, walk-ins will be admitted as needed. We will continue to follow social distancing guidelines. Contact City Hall at 217-256-3214 for building permit applications, dog licenses, UTV, ATV, or Golf Cart applications. Please continue to use the payment drop box in front of City Hall, by mail or by phone using a credit/debit card for Utility bill payments. Thank you for your patience.


City Wide Yard Sales

City Wide Yard Sales will not be held in June this year. Garage sales may be held in the Fall. Dates will be determined in line with the governor’s Restore Illinois plan.


Flowers on Main Street

Thank you to the Warsaw Coalition for planting and watering the flowers on Main Street. We appreciate your work.
