Consumer Confidence Water Report

The City of Warsaw has available upon request this year’s Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). The CCR report includes basic information on the sources of your drinking water, the levels of any contaminants that were detected in the water during 2019, and compliance with other drinking water rules, as well as some educational materials.  To obtain a free copy of the report, please call Kathy Thompson at 217-256-3214 at Warsaw City Hall or go to https:// warsawillinois.org to review the report.


ATV, UTV, and Golf Cart Licenses

This is a reminder to get your ATV, UTV, and Golf Cart Licenses for 2020.  Contact City Hall when you will drop off your $40 check and we will meet you at the door with your license number.  If you need an application, you can contact us at 217-256-3214 and we can give you an application and set up a time to have your application reviewed.  Drivers License, proof of insurance can be attached to the application.  Thanks!


City Burn Pile

The Burn Pile continues to be open. The Burn Pile is for YARD WASTE ONLY including leaves, garden, and small limbs. No large trees.


Food Pantry Needs

The Warsaw Township Food Pantry distributes food every second Wednesday of the month between 9 am and 10 am to those living in the Warsaw school district at the Bott Community Center. The St Paul’s Episcopal Church Food Pantry, 240 S 4th Street alley side of church is held the third Saturday of the month from 10 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The exception to this is June 6 (1st Saturday). For emergency requests, please call 217-575-0045. We deliver to those who are homebound or cannot carry the food.

The First Warsaw Presbyterian Church, 210 South 4th Street sponsors a Blessing Box located on the north side of the church by the steps. Please feel free to take what you need.


Warsaw Water Department

The City of Warsaw Water Department is accepting debit/credit cards along with on line water bill payments.  A payment service fee is added by the Utility Bill Company pending the balance of your bill.  Go to the following address to set up your account https://warsawillinois.azurewebsites.net/  Water bill shut off date is March 19 for residence who are 2 months late on water bill payments.


Reminders

This is a reminder, unused or expired medication can be disposed of at Warsaw City Hall, 210 North 4th Street Monday through Friday 8:00 a. m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. No syringes are allowed.
