Friendship Basket Time

It’s time to start thinking about the Warsaw Friendship Baskets for Christmas. Due to the pandemic, we thought it best to keep personal contact to a minimum.  We are asking for cash donations only this year so we can give the recipients gift certificates from various local businesses.  This will allow them to get most of the items they would normally get in their baskets.

DONATIONS may be made to the Warsaw Friendship Baskets at the Hill-Dodge Bank by SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5.  We realize it’s not quite the same, but it seems to be the best alternative.  We will not be distributing homemade cookies or candy, but we hope those who like to bake will share with a friend, neighbor or shut-ins who might appreciate your efforts.  Fresh fruit is also welcome.

If any questions, call Diane Heisler,  217-256-3408. Thank you in advance for your generosity and understanding.   Stay safe and have a wonderful Christmas.

Diane Heisler, Friendship Baskets Spokesperson.
